ABSTRACT

This chapter investigates the current state of research evidence regarding Blended Learning in general, the degree to which Blended Learning produces desirable student learning outcomes, and what the research literature says regarding the efficacy of specific models of Blended Learning. In doing so, Chapter 6 establishes the parameters that guide current Blended Learning research, the most commonly employed models of Blended Learning, factors most associated with the successful implementation of Blended Learning, and the implications for leadership that arise from the ‘success’ evidence as found in current Blended Learning literature.
