ABSTRACT
An analysis of how privative truths are made true, according to general principles of truthmaker theory. Defends truthmaker necessitarianism by appeal to a Scholastic-style argument from the knowability of being. Argues that privative truths are not made true by any kind of negative being but by positive states of being, in particular total states of potentiality.
