ABSTRACT
Creativity and imagination are at the core of who we are as human beings. This chapter delves into the complexities of creativity, innovation, improvisation, imagination, and imitation, and what sparks one to enter a space that enables aspects of the creative process to be ignited. The differences between creativity and learning technique is addressed, as is the role of an audience member as a participant in the artistic process. Finally, a discussion about how to judge creativity is broached.
