ABSTRACT

Content creators will typically create what is called a Content Template that lays out the regions of the canvas, and this content template will contain all of the necessary resolution, size, and pixel coordinate information for each region in a single file. This template will be used to create custom pieces of pre-rendered content that can then be delivered and used for programming. Raster mapping technique is commonly used in all types of shows, especially those with large numbers of LED screens and projection surfaces. Using a content template to create a single piece of content in this manner is very efficient because it greatly reduces the number of individual pieces of content that have to be created, rendered, and delivered.
