ABSTRACT
A futuristic approach has been applied in this chapter for projecting the vision of consultancy. This covers the role of technology in various production and service operations. Influence of infrastructure on various factors and choices has been specifically introduced in order to improve the efficiency/productivity among other objectives. Channel design associated with production and services including logistics has been envisioned for introducing more efficiency in industrial/business functions. The need concerning additional attention for a holistic view has been emphasized.
