ABSTRACT
Margie Newsome, Mark’s assistant, had scheduled the off-site meeting at a local hotel and invited all members of the leadership team and Oscar Francis, Tires for All’s Master Black Belt. Everyone arrived on time and took a seat in the hotel’s conference room. Bob then started the meeting by welcoming everyone. “In the next two days we will be covering how we intend to combine our Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints initiatives into a singular improvement method,” Bob said. “And as we go, if you have questions or need clarification on any of the points I present, I want you to feel free to stop me,” Bob said. And with that brief introduction, Bob began.
