ABSTRACT
Right on schedule, Bob Nelson arrived at Tires for All and went directly to Mark’s office. Mark shook his hand and the conversation began. “Bob, what you taught me last week about constraints and focus and leverage, has changed my entire thought pattern on improvements to my plant,” Mark explained. Mark looked forward to learning more from Bob, and asked, “What will we be talking about this morning?” Bob noticed the two new books on Mark’s desk and asked if he had read them? Mark indicated that he had just received both books and that he hadn’t yet read them. “You’ll learn a lot from both books, so make sure you do read them, sooner rather than later,” Bob instructed.
