ABSTRACT
Despite having a reputation for being the most permanent photographic medium, platinum/palladium prints are supported by paper, which can be a fragile substrate. This chapter gathers peer-evaluated research and best-practice recommendations from conservators about how platinum/palladium prints should be processed, handled and conserved. Strategies for maintaining notes about negatives, digital files and prints are suggested.
