ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the typical tasks performed day to day and skills needed for these jobs historically. We also include predictions for the skills that will be needed in the future. The authors do not own magic crystal balls, but they are pretty confident that whatever changes come in technology and workplace expectations (e.g., remote work), people who can think and communicate clearly, manage, and write well will not easily be replaced by robots.
