Of Seducing and Respectable, Hospitable and Stingy Foods: Subjectivities of Normal Food

Here I depict further the manner in which normal food, in eliciting specific modes of relations — everyday and hospitality — comes to have subjectivity. In the process I describe the ways in which place- and person-actants come to have subjectivities too. It is the very focus on the agency of food that leads me to examine the subjectivities of food, places, and persons.
