ABSTRACT
Chapter 7 explores how the experiences from the artistic research course are put into action with one student the following semester during an independent study. Through blog reflections and extensive discussions, the narrative explores the development of Gina’s dissertation proposal while she simultaneously confronts the uncertainties and validity of her visual voice as research. By remaining in a state of curiosity and questioning, Gina comes to claim her way of knowing as a powerful method for research.
