ABSTRACT
This chapter focusses on projection and media design in areas outside of the theatre, such as dance, opera, music/touring, installations, site-specific works, theme parks/casinos/cruise ships, industrials, TV/film, and architectural/projection mapping. Field research is also included, featuring an interview with projection designer Olivia Sebesky, who has designed for such acts as James Taylor, Hootie & The Blowfish, Aerosmith, and more.
