ABSTRACT

This second case study chapter introduces Jake, a college junior who is implementing more and more incel ideas in his life. This results in a Title IX claim against him. We score the case on the Incel Indoctrination Rubric (IIR), providing comments on our methodology. Next, we provide an initial threat assessment with recommendations. We list treatment goals for therapy and examine one of those goals from using existential therapy and another using motivational interviewing.
