ABSTRACT

This chapter explores how to prepare the student to develop a case as an assessment. Having delivered case studies for group discussion as part of a programme of learning, it is not uncommon for participants to be invited to create their own case study by means of an assessment. Given the level of investment that the participants have made to deliver their short case sessions, the chapter ensures that each session receives feedback, not only about the appropriateness of subject matter and level of depth of the case content, but also about the manner with which it was facilitated in the class session. Cases can be researched and then delivered by learners to facilitate peer-led learning across a range of contexts.
