ABSTRACT
Since 2000, the volume of Chinese animation production has been increasing substantially. During the ten years in the 1990s, Chinese animation has accumulated rich experiences in creation. Many factors greatly improved, including total length, script subject, content, image lens language, painting techniques, and operational skills. The Chinese State Council enacts a series of policies to promote cultural innovative industry (including the animation industry). The growth rate of Chinese animation series keeps rising steadily. What pleases people more is that the production of animated feature film stays at a high quantity. From 1989 to 2009, the Chinese animation market had gone through 20 years of twists and turns. Infinite vitality to animation creation was brought about. Chinese animation not only inherits the traditional ethnic style but also draws on the successful experiences of foreign animation. The Chinese animation market has become increasingly mature.
