ABSTRACT
The early experimental animation of Shanghai Animation Film Studio focuses mainly on animated short films, including artistic animated short films using techniques such as ink painting, puppetry, and paper-cutting. After entering the year 2000, with the changes in the market economy, the state no longer invests in the creation of animated short films. After the efforts of the Animation Academy, the Academy Awards have established a complete and scientific operation system; it formed a competition pattern with undergraduates as the main body, covering junior colleges, undergraduates, masters, doctors, different professional groups in the society, and teachers at school. The Pond was produced by the Beijing Film Academy in December 2002. It was produced by the first batch of graduates in the direction of animation director and multimedia application of the Beijing Film Academy Animation Department. Promise was created by the students of the Animation Department of Beijing Film Academy in 2008.
