ABSTRACT
In 2004, the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television granted the Animation School of the Beijing Film Academy, School of Animation and Digital Arts of the Communication University of China, the Jilin Animation Institute, and School of Film and Animation of the China Academy of Art as the first batch of four national-level animation teaching and research bases. The establishment of the university bases has played a leading role to propel the unceasing cultivation and accumulation of a large number of outstanding talents. In 2000, on the basis of the animation major of the Fine Arts Department, the Animation School was established, which became the first animation school in the university in China. In the 21st century, traditional art forms have been replaced by digital technology. Three-dimensional digital images have become a new form of art, such as the large-scale war scenes with hundreds of people in the Thru the Moebius Strip and various visual effects.
