ABSTRACT
Currently, food wastes are thrown into landfills each day, producing greenhouse gases. These wastes can instead be intercepted, composted, and used to regenerate the health of urban soils. How can environmental justice communities ensure that they retain access and control over these resources though community-centered composting strategies.
