ABSTRACT
Some students are defiant, belligerent, and seem to have no respect for authority. They always have a chip on their shoulders and have no trouble maintaining their tough image with the teachers. They are what teachers call “hard.” Every student has a "story," and some of those stories will break a teacher's heart. Many students have a hard home life and, sometimes, that shows up as a bad attitude at school. Teachers cannot fix the home situation, but teachers need to be understanding and patient. There is always something going on behind that “bad attitude.”.
