ABSTRACT
Rather than going to some of the most quintessential parts of Lacan’s Seminar X and giving you on a plate the ready to hand aphorisms, formulations, and pret-à-porter definitions the students of Lacan have carried for many a year, taking them for granted and treating them with understanding, I would like to isolate and pull out some of the threads and traces with which Lacan weaves the pathway of, and paves the way for, his teaching at this point.
