Turkey’s economy appeared to be on a roll. But in economics, things can and often do change quickly. The country then headed for recession. To make matters worse, US sanctions are about to slam Turkey’s economy in November 2018 because Turkey buys oil from Iran, a country whose nuclear agreement with the international community Trump just wrecked.
