ABSTRACT
Mother was happy to be back home as she did not enjoy good health, being a patient of malaria. At least once a month during the hot and rainy seasons, she would suffer from an attack, fever followed by headaches and nausea that would leave her quite exhausted. Quinine was the only drug for malaria, and this she could not tolerate and it was not till years later, when Paludrine was discovered did she get any real relief from the disease.
