ABSTRACT
The economic policies that Goudar supported sounded a little bit radical. As already said, this criticism was already raised by some contemporaneous unconvinced readers. Radical as those measures seemed, they fit flawlessly the maxims Goudar had deduced in order to give a sense to the economic reality in which he lived. Alongside those allegedly violent reforms, Goudar proposed the creation of a particular institution meant to promote agriculture.
