In this chapter, you will: review and expand the vocabulary you need to talk about cities, historic landmarks, and other attractions you can visit; read texts and watch video clips about Russian cities; learn how to describe different cities: your hometown, the city you live in, and your favorite cities, as well as cities in Russia; learn how to talk about navigating new cities, using public transportation, and so on; write a blog post about your hometown and create an entry about the city you live in for an online encyclopedia; participate in an urban beautification competition, “Сделаем наш город лучше”; create a video blog post about your hometown or the city you live in.
