ABSTRACT
In this chapter, you will: review and expand the vocabulary you need to talk about going to school and taking classes; read posts from social media networks and watch a video clip about student life in Russia; talk about your school year, classes, exams, grades, favorite professors, and internships; give advice to first-year students; learn new ways to talk about your class schedule; learn to ask questions about other students’ classes, exams, grades, and favorite professors; write a personal blog post about your studies as well as comments on Russian social networks; create a video blog post about your studies.
Grammar content: Review of the dative case functions and endings for nouns, adjectives, and pronouns; reflexive pronouns СЕБЯ and СВОЙ in the dative case; complex sentences: который in the dative case; review Где? Куда? Откуда? with animate and inanimate nouns.
