ABSTRACT

Employees are linked to the company through work contracts, which meticulously stipulate their rights and obligations at work. From the psychological perspective, the employer and employees are also linked by so-called “psychological contracts,” which include the expectations that each party have about one another. Employees should also be encouraged to have frequent casual chats, even with people higher in the hierarchical structure. Managers should show employees the potential implications of the changing circumstances, especially highlighting benefits that change will bring about for employees. Many employees are very opinionated regarding different topics and feel the need to express their views when working for a company. Delegation of relevant tasks to employees is a key factor for a company’s success. As employees are regularly trained and their skills heightened, their awareness is progressively raised and their perspective of reality is widened as well.
