ABSTRACT
This chapter will focus on the unique experiences of immigrant and refugee families and the way their experiences intersect with racial trauma. Topics such as trauma experienced during various parts of the relocation process, the impact of xenophobia in the United States, and struggles with acculturation will be discussed. There will be a specific emphasis on areas for intervention, examples of supportive services, and a case study to guide future reflection.
