ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the visions and dreams which triggered Jung’s self-experiment and how he related them to the events which came over Europe (the First World War). In his attempt to comprehend, he took the decision to undergo a self-experiment with his fantasies. It describes which concepts Jung had before this experience and how after it he developed the technique of active imagination and the concept of individuation.
