ABSTRACT
This chapter examines Jung’s daughter’s comment that her father usually said that he had no method. Although Jung developed a new method, he criticised applying methods blindly. The chapter discusses his criticisms on psychological treatments and, as long as it takes the form of an analysis, how important it is to consider the individuality of the patient and how, for him, both analyst and patient are transformed in the process.
