ABSTRACT
In Chapter 11, a patient with an undiagnosed insulinoma referred for psychiatric assessment illustrates the need for a high index of suspicion of organic mental disorder even in patients who have undergone extensive medical investigation. The diagnostic difficulties illustrate the need for persistence and cooperation between family physician and specialists in such cases.
