ABSTRACT

The participation of students and teachers, young people and adults together on one theatre stage, with a common goal, created a sense of belonging to a community that is aware, sensitive, in solidarity, helpful and able to create the beautiful world that it desires. Often young people bring negative attitudes and expectations about school, its functions, and the people there and about themselves as students. Repeated negative experiences discourage them from being active or from wanting to participate in anything at school. In many cases, they had experienced trauma, a negative, stressful and intense experience that had unbalanced their condition. During the creative educational process, our responsibility as teachers is to ensure young people's successful passage through new experiences that are rich with opportunities.
