ABSTRACT

The Jewish-Arab Center at the University of Haifa is conducting a survey of Arab-Jewish relations in Israel. For this purpose, 1,200 persons, representing Arabs all over the country, were chosen. The goal of the research is to ascertain the attitudes of Arabs and Jews toward each other. The interviewer was from the Dahaf Research Institute, which is an independent institute for social research. They conduct public opinion polls on various subjects. The goal of the study is to ascertain the attitudes of Jews toward the Arabs of Israel: that is, the Arabs who are Israeli citizens and live within the Green Line. Except where indicated, the Arabic-language questionnaire was identical in content and form to the Hebrew-language version.
