ABSTRACT
In our private life, however, away from the turmoil of public affairs, Kai-shek's ardent love for me never changed. He was as considerate as ever, consulted me on all his decisions, and valued my opinions and suggestions. Since I was devoted to him, I shared all his interests and worries as if they were my own.
