ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 examines various dimensions of marriage, fertility, and family planning. All data, maps, and discussion in this chapter focus on these dimensions at the state level Data are from the World Fertility Survey (WFS) conducted in Mexico during 1976-77 and from the 1980 Mexican census. Rates and other statistics were calculated utilizing data from the WFS computer tape and from information computerized from the census.
