ABSTRACT
In an unconventional speech, Chairman Borovik denounced alienation among nations and the publication of letters to the press containing "slander of various nations." He demanded a law "to ensure the accuracy of information" as well as a more rapid reaction to events such as the Chernobyl accident and the downing of the KAL airliner.
