ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we continue our consideration of regression analysis and its application within cross-national data analysis. Our primary focus remains on simple, bivariate regression, as introduced in the previous chapter. We will, however, examine more closely important elaborations of our scatterplot and regression models. In regression analysis, we have a powerful tool not merely for hypothesis testing, but for teasing from cross-national data further insights into patterns among countries that illuminate pathways for future research.
