ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters, we explored the logical relationship between theory, concept formulation, measurement strategies, validity, and the objectives of cross-national analysis. We explored also two principal concepts of politics: power and political authority; more specifically, national potential power and democracy. In this and the remaining chapters, we build upon this foundation to examine hypothesis testing within cross-national analysis.
