ABSTRACT
Electronic surveillance covers many areas, from wiretaps to GPS monitoring devices. This chapter addresses Supreme Court decisions on many of these types of police activities. The leading cases on electronic surveillance briefed in this chapter on electronic surveillance are Katz v. United States and United States v. Jones.
