ABSTRACT
The epilogue provides an update on topics discussed in the book. We wrap up our exploration of sex-negativity and institutional harm with a brief discussion about pivotal current events related to topics discussed in this book. Selected events include the erosion of reproductive rights, increasing Congressional concern about negative impacts on sex workers following the implementation of FOSTA/SESTA legislation, and an example of institutional harm experienced by a pregnant woman who was unnecessarily jailed for 39 days in her third trimester because her civil case “fell through the cracks.”
