ABSTRACT
After so many years of struggle and difficulty, at last Elvira finds herself in that holy place for which she had longed so ardently, and which God had chosen for her. Her desires are satisfied, her spirit calm, and the realization that she is in the place to which Jesus has called her, the certainty that she is doing His will, fills her with ineffable joy, which reveals itself even in her countenance, and urges her to fondly kiss the walls of her beloved prison.
