ABSTRACT

This chapter deals with Appendix B, a two-page blueprint summarizing the Five Paradigm Shifts in a customizable Action Plan to train flourishing. Moving from fear-based neurological patterns to a place of Authentic Excellence never becomes totally automatic. Moving from fear-based neurological patterns to a place of Authentic Excellence never becomes totally automatic. The Fear-Based Model of Excellence is too entrenched in our thinking, behavior, and society. Flourishing may not become involuntary, but this work does become less burdensome and greatly increases our resilience, productivity, and fulfillment. Fear-based responses are so natural and practiced that it takes training to move beyond those neurological patterns. This Action Plan is a powerful form of that training. The Action Plan distills the Five Paradigm Shifts into a personalized training program for flourishing.
