ABSTRACT
The purpose of the epilogue is to acknowledge that we focus on popular culture in mass media to the exclusion of other genres. It also summarizes what we set forth in each case study and how intersectional analysis was employed in each. Finally, the epilogue reminds readers of the theoretical commitments of intersectionality and relays how using it in a reading of popular culture texts contributes to working for social justice.
