ABSTRACT

Supervision documents can be called upon in organisational and client review processes and documents can be subpoenaed as part of an industrial tribunal process. Supervision is fundamental to assist supervisees to take time out to reflect on all aspects of their work, refocus and go back into their role with clarity. Supervision provides the perfect platform to understand how the process of reflection takes place. Most professionals are time poor and engaging in critical thinking and reflection can be somewhat of a luxury. Supervision allows both parties to stop and reflect, enhancing well-being through acknowledgement and validation of the supervisee. All of the questions outlined are very helpful to use in supervision conversations. They are thought evoking and provide supervisees with challenging questions to consider how they view ethics in their work and life.
