ABSTRACT

Before writing this chapter, I went for a quick run. I usually run for 20–30 minutes after a half-hour of procrastination. As much as I love running, I tell myself all types of reasons why I should delay my run, like “Maybe you should finish this chapter first,” “It is late,” There may be a lot of people in the gym,” “Who will do the laundry?” The reality is, running keeps me healthy: my body relaxes, my mind gets clear, and I feel totally refreshed. But when running, my mind doesn’t come with flowers and butterflies all the time; it also comes with thoughts like “I feel tired, stop, it’s too long,” and so on. I feel like giving up and stopping so many times.
