ABSTRACT

As you’ve now learned, obsessions are normal for all of us. For most people, however, obsessions are in the background of our minds. For those with OCD, they come front and center in the mind for four core reasons:

how your brain relates one thing with another,

how your brain overworks,

how you handle the yucky and overwhelming fearful emotions you experience with obsessions, and

how you take your thoughts (very seriously and as the absolute truth).
