ABSTRACT

Healthcare data, is taken from the verifiable facts relating to an individual’s or group’s health. Machine learning and learning systems are two important phrases on the list, and these indicate a theme of human and non-human learning. The final theme indicated in the frequency analysis of phrases is decision-making. Very large amounts of data may make it difficult or close to impossible to “govern” the data. In addition, data entry and processing practices, whether they are legacy practices or newly adopted, can also make conventional governance processes impractical. Another aspect of ensuring data quality, and an especially important aspect of data governance, is data culture. Culture can be defined as the social behavior and norms of a human society or group. Data culture, by extension, is the social behavior and norms of a group as related to data.
