ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses final project reports, quantitative and qualitative data gathering, and alternative modes of sharing project outcomes. Reports are also sites where different knowledge fields collide: arts and population management or social governance, for instance, areas steeped in colonial histories and class struggles. “Sharing knowledge is also a long-term commitment. It is much easier for researchers to hand out a report and for organizations to distribute pamphlets than to engage in continuing knowledge-sharing processes. Documentation can be any and all forms of data that emerge from a project. Evaluations can validate projects, chart success, and make the project available to others after it has passed. But there are many other ways in which validation and documentation can occur and can lead to positive effects for individuals, communities, and collaborating organizations.
