ABSTRACT

The aim of this book is to examine the current situation of psychoanalysis faced with neuroscience, anthropology, genetics and artificial intelligence.

In the first volume, the author describes the evolution of the main psychoanalytic concepts over the last century, and the advances in scientific rigour that make it possible today to understand and utilise their dynamics better.

The second volume will draw on this conceptual renewal to examine analytical technique in terms of three major axes: the transference, trauma and the coherence of identity.
