ABSTRACT
Readers have the opportunity to identify, analyze, define and create their own style, including selecting a version of themselves as a period style persona as well as a self, based on selecting an ISM with which to define themselves. The degree to which identifying with and/or imitating another as a means of discovering one’s selves are presented. Intimacy Directors have positively impacted actor safety and comfort. Extended playful events such as Period Style Days celebration and Persona Style Days (sharing one’s presentation choices, personal myth, motto and masks) are suggested, as are guides for creating a personal coat of arms, motto and vow. Exercises are offered for adapting and adopting choice for the presentation of self, adapting vs. adopting and achieving style freedom.
