ABSTRACT
This introduction lays out our process for readers: It describes our processes, priorities, and positionalities. Over the years, we were able to dwell with and think with the stories shared by those who participated in the study through the many focus group discussions we and our research assistants conducted. The topic area is vast and gave rise to new perspectives and ideas throughout the study. As such, we familiarize readers here with a chapter by chapter description of some of the aspects of selfie-making we address.
